Arthur & Sharon Gianelli Early Careerist ACHE Congress Scholarship

Scholarship Overview

The Foundation for Healthcare Leaders of New York (HLNY Foundation) is proud to offer the Arthur & Sharon Gianelli Early Careerist ACHE Congress Scholarship. This scholarship provides funding for one early careerist to attend the ACHE Congress on Healthcare Leadership in the following year. The awardee will also receive a mentoring session with Arthur A. Gianelli, FACHE, during the Congress.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  1. Active ACHE Membership: You must be an active member of the Healthcare Leaders of New York Chapter to be eligible.

  2. Early Careerist Status: Classified as an Early Careerist under ACHE's definition (under the age of 40 as of the application deadline).

  3. Employer Support: Applicants are not eligible if their current employer covers or plans to cover registration costs associated with the ACHE Congress.

  4. First-Time Congress Attendee: Preference will be given to applicants attending the ACHE Congress for the first time.

  5. Community Involvement: Demonstrated community service.

  6. Professional References: Provide two letters of recommendation.

    • One from a leader within your organization.

    • One from an industry leader familiar with your work.

Applicants may apply for only one scholarship per cycle. Individuals who have received any HLNY Foundation scholarship are not eligible to apply for another Foundation award until three (3) years have passed since their most recent award year.

Application Instructions

Please complete all sections of the application form. Handwritten applications will not be accepted. Submit your completed application along with all required documents by November 10th.
